Senior Supply Chain Planner

Under minimal supervision, the scope of this position is responsible for Commercial Production Planning and Scheduling, Inventory control management, and other product supply support activities to meet Company Supply Objectives.

 

Control and maintain inventory of Finished Goods, API, packaging, raw materials, and intermediates as required to support Marketing forecast and product supply objectives.

Perform necessary inventory transactions in Enterprise One for all commercial inventory based on inventory receipts, movement, and internal inventory requisitions. Comply with, identify, develop, and update policies as needed relating to Inventory Management and Production Planning. Develop, update, and provide metrics reporting to management on sales vs. forecast, on-time deliveries, scrap dollars, etc. as identified. Assist with the development of Item Masters, Branch Plant identification and association, and Bills of Materials, in Enterprise One for each Commercial Product.

 

We require 7 ? 10 years of materials management (production planning and inventory control) experience in a pharmaceutical or related industry preferred. Experience in FDA regulated environment desired. Must have worked with and possess a strong knowledge of Inventory control/MRP software systems and procedures.  Must have ability to work and remain organized and flexible in a fast paced environment.  Candidate must have Ability to prioritize to meet changes in departmental and company requirements.  Experience in Purchasing a plus or  a 4 year college degree in business; or related degree required.  APICS certification desirable.

Strong analytical and computer skills required. Strong command of Microsoft Excel, WORD, and Projects required. Excellent interpersonal and writing skills necessary.
