Shipping/Receiving
Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a temp-to-hire shipping/receiving position with a major company in the food industry.
Requirements:
- Will need to be able to continually lift 20-30 lbs in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled
- Will need to be able to drive a forklift occasionally (some previous experience required)
- Previous shipping/receiving experience required
- Flexible schedule ? this position is primarily 1st shift (10 am ? 6.30 pm), but needs to help out with 2nd shift (6 pm ? 12 am) when needed
- Someone who is looking for a long-term career opportunity with a major company
Environment will be similar to a UPS or FedEx work environment. Training will be Mon - Fri 10 am to 6:30 pm. This is considered a part-time position, around 30-35 hrs per week. If the person is flexible to help out with the 2nd shift, they may be able to work closer to 40 hours, but it is not guaranteed.
Pay will be 13.50/hr as a temporary for 90 days, and after that it will be $14.29/hr with full benefits. After one year, the selected employee will be encouraged to get a CDL and drive for the company. A CDL truck driver has the potential to make $40-50K per year.
