Title: Shipping & Receiving Team Lead

Plan, organize and control operational indicators and take appropriate action to resolve problems as they occur. Provide direction to direct reports and information to management.


Assist with the planning and controlling of departmental expenses within budget allowances. Assist with the preparation, monitoring, and implementation of corrective action as required.


Administer company personnel policies, enforce safety regulations, ensure regulatory compliance and take prompt action on employee complaints.


Develop and implement operational improvement programs.


Develop subordinates, organize staff and provide a leadership in problem solving and decisions making. Oversee the supervision of special activities/services as required.


Ensures materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.


Reviews receipt of all materials and goods with inventory control.


Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing scheduleds.


Complete ability to adhere to GMP and SOP's.


Other duties as assigned.


Typically requires a BS/BA degree with 6 years relevant experience in warehouse enviornment.


Must have indepth knowledge of understanding and applicaiton of principles, concepts, and practices, and standards along with an indepth knowledge of industry practices.


Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required.


Must posses good planning and organizational skills coupled with aptitude for working with computer systems.


Must be able to develop solutions to semi-complex problems.
