Software Design Engineer ? Transportation Logistics 4GL, HTML
Software Product Engineer:
Working in a dynamic, fast-paced application development environment you will diligently apply your Transportation industry knowledge and proven software design skills towards the creation and extension of best in class Logistics Applications. You will participate in a significant part of the system development lifecycle from requirements gathering through software verification
Duties & Responsibilities:
? Gather and analyze business requirements working with customers and other internal parties
? Define solution scope to meet business requirements
? Define functional extensions to application to meet stated business requirements
? Produce software prototypes to demonstrate proposed functionality
? Produce written specifications for use by Development and Quality Assurance teams
? Engage in Transportation Solution development using Client?s Business Platform
? Support Development and Quality Assurance teams during software activities
? Participate in software testing activities to verify software meets business requirements as specified
Qualifications & Experience:
? University degree (preferably in Software or Logistics related discipline)
? Experience in Transportation/Logistics industry
? Experience with Transportation/Logistics software
? Good English language written and verbal communication skills
? Software Application Design experience
? Database design experience.
? HTML skills/experience
? Development experience with a 4GL
