Be part of a team the tests and delivers world class supply chain software solutions for today?s leading companies!  Your contribution can assist Fortune 500 companies improve their business and increase their productivity.  The Software Quality Engineer ensures that RedPrairie products are released with the highest possible quality to meet our business requirements and enable our customers to achieve cost-effective, industry leading results.

 

Responsibilities:

? Develop overall testing methodologies and test plans

? Coordinate the implementation of test plans

? Maintain and use automated testing tools for the performance of regression and other types of testing

? Analyze and report test failures utilizing problem report tracking software

? Review documentation for technical accuracy

Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field

 

? At least two years of experience in developing automated/manual test suites for software products

? Experience with one of the more popular automated test software packages

? Experience using software involving Windows GUI interfaces, relational databases, and multi-user issues

? Knowledge of the transportation/warehouse industry preferred

? Client/server testing experience

? Knowledge in the following technologies:  SQL, SQL Server and Oracle, NT, UNIX

? Testing of distributed applications architectures

? Exposure to middleware technologies

? Ability to travel up to 25% annually to customer and other RP sites
