This position is located in our MA, Needham facility
General Dynamics Network Systems is a world-class IT architect and systems integrator of converged voice, video and data networks that are secure, scalable, survivable and interoperable. Our 7,000 dedicated professionals design, build, integrate, and operate enterprise and wireless networks for government and commercial customers worldwide. General Dynamics Network Systems is a business unit of General Dynamics.
Provide senior-level program management for the USAF NETCENTS program. Duties include:
? Lead, and provide leadership to, General Dynamics' AFNS team for all phases of the NETCENTS program.
? Interface on regular basis with customer's senior program management team
? Be the primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
? Ensure that the program is executed in conformance with all contractual requirements, provide detailed progress, cost and other reports as contractually required to customer project team
? Provide detailed progress, cost and other reports as required to General Dynamics' management meeting or exceeding defined program goals
? Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
? Coordinates the preparation of NETCENTS proposals, business plans and operating budgets
? Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
? Provide marketing and business development oversight to position AFNS to win NETCENTS opportunities.
? Manage and mentor junior staff
Requires Bachelor's degree.
Requires minimum 10 years experience (minimum 6 years experience with a Master's degree). Strong management and process skills with significant prior experience managing IDIQ projects of at least $50M.
Candidate must be willing and able to travel CONUS and OCONUS
