Description The StrategicSourcing - eProcurement Specialist provides overall program management leadership and support to the eProcurementprogram within Ernst &Young. This individual will be a key member of the Procure-to-Pay solution project team and be involved in functional configuration, training and user acceptance testing and will take ownership of day-to-day management once implemented. This individual should have knowledge of procurement processes, catalog management, supplier enablement and financial solutions for disbursements. The program administrator is also responsible for project managing the implementation of new processes and technologies as they relate to their program. This individual will interface occasionally with firm leadership and will continuously need to leverage strong working relationships with key internal constituents.

Responsibilities

Establishes business relationships with key internal customers and firm leadership. Develops and implements a robust marketing and communication strategy, targeted to impacted personnel.

Communicates regularly with program users and provides customer service and problem resolution support.

Establishes key program metrics to measure program success and to identify areas of non-compliance. Drives program compliance by identifying and resolving issues.

Manages small projects to implement new tools and processes.

Leverages project professionals for major initiatives such as replacing technology solutions.

Process reengineering and six sigma methodologies may be utilized.

Develops training materials and ensures all personnel understand their roles and responsibilities in complying with the program.

Understands industry benchmarks and is an active member in professional organizations relevant to the program.

Works with supervisor in preparation of annual budgets.

Receives guidance from more senior professionals when conducting executive presentations or interfacing with senior internal clients. This individual is expected to work with minimal oversight in their program management activities.

Develops program strategy with assistance from their supervisor and is responsible for overall success as measured through key metrics. Compliance to the program is key to the success and usually involves personnel throughout the firm understanding and utilizing tools and processes implemented by the program manager. Challenges may arise when business functions do not see the benefit and may not comply.

To overcome internal resistance to change, operates through their supervisor and occasionally interfaces with firm leadership. This individual is the firms subject matter expert in the program in which they manage.

This individual needs to understand strategic trends in the major industries they support and subsequently develop and implement strategies accordingly. This individual needs to have subject matter expertise in their program and the supporting tools, metrics and best practices.
