These positions support the Supply Chain operations by building and executing strategic Supply Management strategies and managing all aspects of the global supply management process.  Two Supply Leaders are required for the following commodities; stampings and metal fabricated parts, purchased finished goods including sourcing, new product interaction, marketing support and other activities relating to this commodity grouping, and packaging with other indirect commodity management



MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:Research - commodities, industries, and suppliers Analysis of spend data Develop & implement commodity strategies to lower total cost of ownership Compilation of performance measurement data Value engineering and cross functional team activities Participation on various teams where supply management expertise is required Selection and negotiation of supply for certain commodities Negotiation and implementation of contracts Assist with coordination of Pentair wide leveraging activities including RFQs/bids and Reverse Auctions Ensure repeatable product quality from supply base
