Supply Chain Consultant

A leading global management consulting firm, specializing in a full range of business solutions for the retail, consumer products and health care industries, is seeking motivated professionals with sound knowledge of supply chain management to help our clients develop world-class global manufacturing and sourcing operations, distribution networks, facilities, and customer selling environments.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with client teams to:

Develop sourcing strategies via operational and financial cost modeling
Make operational process and productivity improvements
Align our clients? comprehensive distribution and logistics strategy with the overall supply chain
Help companies utilize cutting-edge technology including RFID, Sourcing and Supply Chain Event Management, Network Modeling Optimization and Application Strategy
Assist retailers and consumer products companies in achieving higher levels of customer satisfaction, optimized store-level revenue generation, and improved people performance

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management or similar field; highly developed interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills; and 2-8 years experience to include full lifecycle project experience with retailer or retail warehouse management systems and proven team leadership skills. Strong knowledge of process improvement -- selection, design, testing, implementation -- is required. Familiarity with PkMS or WMS software is highly desirable.

You must also possess the ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions; an energetic, can-do personality; and the capability to work well with a variety of customer personalities. Fluency in a foreign language such as Spanish or Chinese would be a plus.
