Team Advisor, Making

The Team Advisor is responsible for supervising the work activities of an operations department, and to ensure attainment of facility Key Performance Indicators.


Manage overall aspects of the oral care operation
Support safety, GMP, FDA, Calibration, CPM, and EOHS plant initiatives
Administer labor contract consistently
Coordinate production schedule with planning team to satisfy customer demand
Coordinate maintenance scheduling to optimize equipment performance
Manage team schedules and technician staffing levels to ensure proper utilization of team
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing processes, the formulations, and the interrelationships of the different elements that need to come together to produce high quality products
Measure the performance of the team using KPIs and give feedback to develop plans for continuous improvement
Develop and manage team addressing accountability and performance
Identify technical training jobs and put plans in place to address
Participate in the development of and responsibility for operating the budget

B.S. Degree in Engineering 2 - 5 years experience leading in a manufacturing environment Previous experience in project or maintenance engineering required Previous experience in a team or high performance work environment preferred Understanding of production planning and scheduling, inventory management, budgeting, capital spending, maintenance, engineering, and workforce dynamics
