Career Opportunity

 

Our Romulus, MI office has an immediate opening for a Transportation Clerk with good computer data entry skills and experience with transportation documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and commercial invoices. A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years' international transportation industry experience preferred.

 

The primary responsibility of this position includes:

 Entering and tracking shipment information into a computer spreadsheet and tracking system, andOrganizing and sorting transportation documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and commercial invoices.

The ideal candidates should be able to:Work all shifts, including overtime when necessaryEnter shipment data quickly and accurately, using Microsoft Word and ExcelEnter shipment data quickly and accurately, using computerized Warehouse Management SystemUnderstand the Automotive parts movement process/procedures/systemsUnderstand warehouse/cross dock operationsVerify, organize and file necessary paperwork for outbound containers/trailers.
