Job responsibilities include identifying items of merchandise, determining the area within the warehouse the items are stored, retrieving the items from the storage location, and arranging the items comprising the entire order as directed. Use the forklift and simple mechanical devices to move the merchandise as directed. Comply with all written and verbal direction to include policies and procedures associated with this and related tasks. Move the shipping containers to the designated area and stack the containers as directed. Comply with all written and verbal direction to include policies and procedures associated with this and related tasks. Must be able to meet productivity standards, without limitation, such tasks as cleaning up, preventative maintenance on building, equipment, and vehicles. Must follow all corporate and division policies and procedures in the assigned tasks. Minimum Job Requirements: Verify and coordinate the collection, shipping, packing and stocking of orders and to recognize, understand and comply with written safety warnings, instructions and direction.

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Prefer twelve-months warehouse handling experience. Knowledge of proper body mechanics to include, without limitation, route posture, proper lifting techniques and the demonstrated application of those techniques. Ability to safely operate and control a motor-driven forklift in a standing position throughout the working day or assigned shift. Ability to repetitively lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 pounds and to push or pull objects on carts or pallets that weigh up to 550 pounds.
