UPS Warehouse Manager

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:

The UPS Warehouse Manager ? Louisville will be responsible to coordinate and manage all UPS shipping, receiving, return material (RMA) processing and inventory management activities on behalf of 3D Systems.  Where necessary, the Warehouse Manager will also suggest and implement process improvements to streamline operations.

 

DUTIES:

 Ensures the timely and accurate receiving and shipping of materials, spare parts and equipment.Ensures the timely and accurate processing of all RMA transactions.Coordinates the timely resolution of all shipping, receiving, RMA, and inventory issues.Manages ongoing cycle counts and ensures inventory accuracy.Ensures adequate processes are in place, and followed for all warehousing functions.Audits all warehousing processes and retrains UPS staff as necessary.Trains UPS staff to self manage all 3D warehousing functions by end of contract.Prepares or reviews distribution documents including import/export documents.Excellent verbal/written communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.

 

Experience:5-7 years 3rd party logistics or warehouse management experience, preferably with UPS.Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.International logistics experience strongly preferred.

 

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong PC skills including MS Office (Excel).  In-depth ERP experience, preferably Oracle 11i.  SAP or JD Edwards also acceptable.Experience extracting, analyzing and reporting ERP data.  A proven track record designing, auditing and streamlining all warehousing processes including shipping, receiving, RMA processing and inventory management.Experience working successfully in a cross-functional team based business environment.Must be energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about leading changeAbility to develop, train and audit to work instructions.Very hands on and detail oriented.  Must be able to prioritize and problem solve as needed.  Ability to make adjustments to plans on an ?on demand? basis. 

 

Education:BA, BS or related degreeSupply Chain degree or certifications strongly preferred
