Vault Manager

Brink's, the world-wide industry leader in secure transportation, has an opening in our Global Services Division for a Vault Manager.  Under the direction of the General Manager, the Vault Manager will administer and provide leadership for all activities associated with the Global Services Precious Metals Vault.  Working in a dynamic, high-paced environment, ensures inventory integrity, adherence to company policy, timely fulfillment of customer instructions as well as the safe, secure and efficient operation of the vault.  Responsible for hiring, training, safety, support and performance of Vault employees.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Formulate and maintain customer service standards and goals

Plan and control workflow of vault for maximum efficiency and superior customer service

Maintain inventory integrity on a daily basis.  Responsible for internal and external audits.

Preparation and management of logs and reports

Responds to and resolves Customer Service issues.

Management of Vault staff:  hire, train, support, safety, performance management

Institutes and manages measures to ensure business objectives and maximum profitabilty

Liase with other departments and Brink's branches on various pertinent issues

 

Requirements:

 

5+ years related industry experience

BA Degree preferred

Proven ability to lead and direct successful work teams as evidenced by successive growth to levels of increasing responsibility, prior project achievements, positive team relationships; superior, peers & subordinates

Ability to work in a hands-on environment, including ability to lift 60-70 lbs

Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills

Superior verbal and written communication skills including Business level English and professional presentation skills

Professional aptitude, presentation and demeanor

Superior computer skills:  Microsoft Excel, Word (Lotus Notes experience helpful)
