WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER

World Wide Technology, Inc., currently has an excellent opportunity available for a Warehouse Operations Manager for our facility in Austin, TX. WWT is the leading electronic Procurement and Logistics (e-PL) company in the Information Technology industry and is headquartered in St. Louis, MO. This individual will oversee all warehouse and logistics operations for a 60,000 square foot facility. Responsibilities include the staffing and training of all warehouse and site coordinator personnel. Management and direction of all associates in the performance of their duties. Development of a daily logistics plan for the proper and most cost efficient movement of daily shipments and receipts. Development of warehouse and customer service metrics to effectively measure performance. Evaluate warehouse layout and recommend changes as necessary to maintain a cost-efficient operation. Enforce policies and procedures that ensure safe, effective operations of the warehouse/shipping function. Qualified applicants should possess three to five years of general warehouse experience with a minimum of one year in a supervisory role. Previous inventory management experience. Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel). Excellent communication and leadership skills are required. Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience.
