Account Executive - Wireless & Land-Line

Job Purpose:

Serves customers by identifying their telecommunications land line and wireless voice and data needs

 

Duties:

* Generates new business opportunities; identifying potential suspects into prospects and then turning them into customers; planning and organizing sales-call schedule; setting appointments with new customers, maintaining accurate sales funnels and sales forecasts, self starter who undertands the sales life-cycle and has strong closing skills.

 

* Provides bandwidth and transport products and services to include local, LD, T1, frame relay, ISDN, land line, wireless voice & data, PDAs, GPS tracking, push to talk, corporate and individual liable sales knowledge; answering questions and requests at the sales call; creating possible wireless and land-line solutions.

 

* Prepares sales assessments, telecom solutions, cost benefits, and contract documents, coordinating bandwidth applications in customer environment.

 

* Closes sale by demonstrating benefit to the customer; explaining costs involved; obtaining contract signatures.


* Meets sales objectives by maintaining accurate funnels, discussing sales progress and performance objectives with Sales Manager; identifying obstacles in closing; developing solutions to improve closing ratio.

 

* Maintains customer satisfaction by maintaining rapport with current accounts; evaluating service level agreements; identifying and resolving problems; escalating problems for appropriate resolutions; notifying senior management of potential service failures.

 

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by understanding new network tecommunications technologies; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal lead generation and business development networks; participating in professional networking organizations.

 

* Exceeds sales quotas, engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues to senior management; recommending courses of action; implementing directives to ensure quality of service; pitching in when necessary to maintain sales efforts move forward to closure.
