Agent Manager

Covista Communications has been one of the nation's leading telecommunications companies since 1983. As a facilities-based telecommunications services provider with a substantial customer base in the residential and commercial market segments, we own and operate an extensive network with three switch locations. Our products and services include a broad range of voice, data and Internet solutions, including local, long distance and toll-free services, calling cards, frame relay, Internet access, VPN, directory assistance and teleconferencing services.

Covista headquarters are located in Chattanooga, Tennessee where we maintain a 24 x 7 Network Operations center, customer care center to monitor our network and manage customer service.

 

We are currently seeking an Agent Manager.

 

The successful candidate will be able to develop, implement and monitor regional sales and incentive programs designed to drive agents? productivity and meet or exceed established Key Performance Indicators.  Communicate sales programs results / effectiveness to the field.  Train and educate Select Partners on competitive advantages, products and services, promotions, methods and procedures.  Provide both formal and one-on-one training and coaching sessions as needed.  Drive Select Partners to hit assigned quota objectives.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

? Recruits and Retains Sales Agents to meet and exceed the indirect sales goals of the organization.

? Provides initial and ongoing training to our agents;  works with the Director of Sales to develop appropriate training.

? Handles elevated requests for information, and problem resolution.

? Manages Agent Support representatives.Tracks and reports on agent revenue growthRecruits and retains Sales Agents to meet and exceed the indirect sales goals of the organization.

 

Qualifications:

?  Minimum of 5 years? experience in Telecom Sales a must.

?  Minimum of 2 years? management experience;  preferably in agent market.

?  Successful track record of driving revenue

?  The ability to work well in a dynamic fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.

?  Superior leadership and communication skills

?  This position requires travel throughout the assigned territory.  A valid driver?s license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required.

?  Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation and communication skills are required.Bachelor?s degree preferred.
