Application / Software Development and Support Consultant

Synectics has an opening in Middletown, NJ. An Application / Software Development and Support Consultant is needed to create end-to-end workflow for project support. The consultant will perform systems engineering and data analysis involving EFMS, primarily supporting the data handoff to various system interfaces. The consultant will review documentation with both user and development communities. Participation in User Acceptance Testing and identifying corrective actions on issues/problems will be needed. 

 

Qualifications for this position include the following:

- Familiarity with the VPN family of services, particularly EVPN, AVPN, BVOIP and GMIS, Data Transport and Nodal voice service is necessary

- Bachelors or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical fields

- Working knowledge of interface technologies

- Able to recommend potential solutions and be able to provide clear, concise specifications to local and offshore development organizations

- Knowledge of InConcert workflow engine and other internal systems surrounding EFMS, such as GIOM, USRP, LPP, ACMS, e-Ordering, Universal Biller, DBOR, NC3 would be helpful

- Knowledge of the internal Service Delivery Processes/ Data flow is a plus

- Working knowledge of ATG Dynamo and Oracle 8i/9i SQL is desirable

- Intermediate level experience is required with System Requirements
