Business Systems Analyst

Daily Responsibilities Include: * Develop and Document innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, system architecture, and adherence to development goals and principles. * Daily collaboration and communication with other analysts, managers, and teams (Product Management, QA, Operations, Development) to analyze and document business requirements, formulate approaches, create functional designs, and implement business solutions. * Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction; * Work flexibility as a team member, project lead or individual contributor based on business need (A typical CypherEdge project teams one or more business analysts under the direction of a project manager or lead analyst). * Interface with QA team to create test plans and procedures for new systems or upgrades to existing systems. * Contribute to the stability, evolution, and efficiency of the platform applications by following development processes and utilizing agreed upon best practices. * Contribute to the definition of changes in methodologies, technical architectures and practices to help improve business operations. * Defining, packaging, and managing delivery on requirements for multiple offshore development teams. * Keep up to date with technical as well as industry sector developments. Qualifications: * BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, relevant experience may be considered * Technical Aptitude and Problem-solving skills, cooperative approach. * 5+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable distributed, fault-tolerant applications * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Experience in the Wireless industry is preferred * Experience with off-shore development teams and models preferred. * Demonstrated experience and ability to apply the following in meeting business and technical objectives: * Advanced skills in system analysis concepts, techniques and tools * Business process modeling and analysis * Demonstrated experience and advanced knowledge of System Development Life Cycle methodologies * Demonstrated experience successfully working in collaboration with business departments * Demonstrated experience with object oriented analysis and design techniques, including use cases and UML analysis class models. * Experience software change control processes and tools * Knowledge of relational databases, Client Server development, and Web-based development tools. * Project Planning * Testing concepts, techniques and tools This is a full time position with benefits.
