CBS-Outbound Telemarketing Sales Rep.
Description: Position Summary: The CBS Outbound Retention Telemarketing Sales Representative is the primary channel responsible for retaining, saving, and selling telephony, data and video services to existing customers. This position will enter basic orders in ICOMS (Main Billing Database) for disconnects, upgrades and features.
Responsibilities:
*Retains and sells bundled telephony, data, and video products to existing customers
*Meets or exceeds corporate/regional retention and sales goals
*Develops relationships with customers
*Understands the communication needs of business customers and provides solutions to meet those needs
*Handles all Cancellation of Service requests
*Processes Customer Termination Letters with buy-out information
*Responsible for processing customer disconnects
*Works with customers who require solutions simple enough that the sale can be closed over the phone
*Sets up appointments for an Outside Account Executive to meet with customer if sale is not appropriate for the Inside Retention Sales Representative to complete
*Ensures product pricing reflects pricing structures set at the corporate level
*Enters orders for service upgrades, features, video and email in ICOMS (Main Billing Database)
*Files Move, Add, Change order forms in customer folders
*Works with Order Entry Specialist to complete new sales orders
*Forwards retention/win/loss reporting to the Retention Sales Manager
*Updates Salesforce.com/ OPTIX with all required customer information in a timely fashion
*Ensures customer satisfaction through sales cycle
*Makes follow-up calls to customers to inform them of customer referral program
*Remains current on technical information regarding Cox?s telephony, data, and video products and offerings, Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), networking, consultation, negotiation, and sales skills through completion of required/recommended training program

Requirements:
Strong negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Previous sales experience required
1 years experience in telephony, data, and video sales preferred
Cross trained on telephony, data and video
Consultative selling experience
Ability to sell based on a cost-benefit analysis
Experience in the communications industry or at a major communications equipment vendor
Strong technical aptitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong people and relationship management skills
Computer skills including Windows based applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook)
Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience
