CS2K/Class 5 Switch engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Class 5 Switch Engineer, preferably a CS2K switch, but would consider someone with experience on a softswitch (i.e. - Cisco BTS 2000, Cedarpoint Safari, etc.), or even a general class 5 experience with DMS or 5ESS

We have 6 sites that need to have voicemail turned up, and 3-4 sites to have switches turned up.  The vendor (Nortel) will come into install the switch and do the TMV testing.  This person will over see the person from Nortel to make sure that everything is going smoothly, and will help with any issues, including data and IP support.  The vendor will then hand off the switch to the customer and this person will take over the switch fully and handle the ATP (acceptance test planning), and will work on hardware redundancy, etc. 

 

Candidate must have at least 3+ years working with a CS2K/softswitch or Class 5 switch. Cs2K is highly prefered. Candidate must have a strong telecom background and  needs to have good communication skills.  They will be traveling around for this job, and will be going from site to site for anywhere from 2-4 weeks at a time.
