Job Description
???????????? Responsible for installation of cables for telecommunications systems.?Responsibilities
?
???????? Read & understand Blueprints
???????? Install horizontal station cables and backbone cables
???????? Familiarize with all termination methods:? BIX, 110, 66M1-50.
???????? Install cable support systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks, bridle, or D-rings)
???????? Prepare workstation outlet locations (installs wall, floor, or modular furniture jacks).
???????? Terminate and test twisted-pair copper.
???????? Build out telecommunications and equipment rooms.
???????? Firestop walls.
???????? Tests, troubleshoots, and documents test results on copper and optical fiber cable.

Requirements
?
???????? Working knowledge of:
????????? ?CAT5e & CAT6 Cabling
????????? ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards and the National Electric Code.
???????? Maintain clean driver?s license
???????? Ability to work Overtime when needed
???????? Ability to work under minimal supervision in a team environment
???????? Meticulous attention to detail
???????? Strong verbal communication skills
???????? 2+ years related experience
