Position:   China Director Common Hardware Engineering

Location: HangZhou China

 

Job Description

As the China Director of Hardware Engineering you will manage a common hardware engineering group of over 80 engineers based in HangZhou and ShenZhen.

l  Responsible for the daily management of Common Hardware Engineering department.

l  Work closely with customers and Business Unit (BU) R&D teams to define the market requirements, product directions

l  Lead team to establish and improve common hardware platform and provide best of the services to BU R&D;

l  Organization development and build up effective teams

l  Focus on compliance, RoHS, design and quality methodology

 

Required:

l  BA degree or above in EE, electrico mechanical or related field.

l  Strong leadership for the technical direction and vision for the department.

l  8-10 years strong and extensive working experience in the area of component engineering, PCB design, compliance engineering, reliability, cable engineering and mechanical engineering, packaging, human factor and ID design

l  Fluent in mandarin language

l  Good interpersonal skills for effective communication and coordination.

l  Telecom and networking knowledge or experience is a plus.

l  Willing to live and work on assignment in China.

l  Manufacturing support (DFT, DFM), CRM/Agile, international standard compliance, supply chain optimization
