Communications Engineer
Enjoy the spectacular Monterey Bay Peninsula and our moderate climate by applying for the position of Communications Engineer with the County of Monterey. This position will design, review, prepare and sign for installation plans for County Communications systems and networks including voice, video and data transmission, telephone systems, wireless, mobile radio systems, microwave, fiber optics and wire. Additionally, this position will provide technical direction for the construction, maintenance, and operation of communications systems and equipment supervising technical and professional staff. Our ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering; 2 years experience planning and designing communications systems and possess a current professional Electrical or Communications Engineering license with the State of California.
