Construction Engineer

Construction Engineer ? Richmond or Norfolk, Virginia

 

This position will be responsible for wireless cell site construction design, contract and bid generation and approval, materials ordering, ordering and placement of utilities, and overall coordination of construction activities in eastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.  Position will also ensure that cell sites are built to appropriate quality control with respect to company specifications and schedules. 

This position will also require inventory management responsibilities, as well as fixed asset review, reporting and reconciliation. 

Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills inclusive of personal computer skills, project management skills, the ability to effectively manage change, the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, the ability to travel and a valid Drivers License. Physical requirements shall include the ability to work in elevated work environments, the ability to work in adverse weather conditions, the ability to regularly lift seventy-five pounds, and other duties as assigned.

Job will require periodic night and weekend work hours. 

Experience in the wireless telecommunications industry a plus.
