Job Description:
Construction Manager I supports the Construction Manager II and reports to the CPM on a project. Their role is to manage the site construction process from design to completion while adhering to the project schedule. Their duties include active participation in the training of the ACM, site design process, management and coordination of site bid process, field supervision and management of general contractors, tracking and reporting site completion schedule, while interacting with all disciplines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Site Design- Coordinate and interact with all project disciplines to design sites based on construction feasibility and cost effectiveness. Bid Walks- Prepare bid packages and coordinate/conduct bid walks with general contractors. Receive bids and compile them for review and awarding. Site Construction Supervision- Ensure site is built according to permitted site design and client specifications and track general contractors work schedule and report progress to Construction Project Manager on a regular basis. Drawing Review- Verify accuracy and consistency of lease exhibits, zoning, and construction drawings to ensure that they meet Client?s specifications and requirements. Make needed corrections to drawings when necessary and convey those changes to A&E representatives. Material Procurement- Produce site specific lists of materials from construction drawings and coordinate the procurement and delivery of those materials. Quality Assurance- Ensure Client?s specifications and requirements are implemented according to agreed upon deliverables. Produce site punch lists and coordinate the completion of those lists. Administrative- Maintain filing systems to track construction materials and produce daily and weekly reports to assist in the tracking of network deployment. Associate Training- Provide field and inter-discipline orientation/training to new construction associates. 

Education and/or Experience: Associates degree preferred. Six months plus experience with telecommunications construction. A Contractor?s License is a plus.

Other Qualifications:Ability to travel as required Comfortable in self-directed environment Ability to read and interpret documents such as zoning and construction drawings, bids, and leases. Ability to write coherent and succinct status/progress reports. Proficient in Microsoft Office ? Excel, Word, Project, Outlook Understanding of e-mail and the Internet Ability to lift an excess of 30 pounds
