NetVersant- is currently interviewing for an exceptional Contract Administrator in South San Francisco, CA

 

GENERAL SUMMARY

Works under close supervision of the Controller to set-up and manage projects in  Oracle. Assists with collection efforts & timely submittal of required project documentation.  Provides customer service, both internally and to customers regarding contracts and invoices.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/KNOWLEDGE

? Reconciliation of all contract packages submitted by Sales and Project Management group

? Create and maintain projects in Oracle database

? Project and service invoicing, coordinating when necessary with the Finance department

? Process subcontractor invoices and maintain history file.

? Support the accounting department with monthly/annual close process

? Input budget, project costs and cost change orders in Oracle to appropriate projects

? Close out projects upon their completion

? File and maintain all contract related paperwork (i.e. Customer Purchase Orders, Lien Contract Change Notices, etc)

? Track corporate contract review forms with Legal department

? Manage customer database changes and updates

? Communicate with both internal and external customers (both written & verbal).

? Provide reports upon request including project status inquiries

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

? High school diploma; some college and/or A.A. degree preferred

? 2 plus years experience in project accounting

? Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks/projects at a time

? Background in construction accounting preferred

? Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and Oracle software; proficiency in both Microsoft Excel and Oracle based applications required

? Strong organization, interpersonal and communication skills
