Cross Telecom Software Specialist - Virtual Office Position

Cross Telecom, one of Minnesota's fastest growing companies is looking for an energetic and positive representative to join our team!

 

A Software Specialist (SS) is responsible for providing extensive remote and occasional on-site post-sales software implementation support of Avaya Communications Manager. This includes all new platforms such as S8300, S8500, S8720 and associated adjuncts and/or applications for customers.  Support will include but will not be limited to stations, call coverage, feature functionality and multi-media mailboxes.  In addition, the SS will be responsible for System, Network and Trunking (SNT) translations as well as Automatic Route Selection (ARS) input.  The SS will also configure and translate basic contact center translations including Vectors, Agents and hunt groups.  This support is for complex installations, configurations, upgrades and migrations managed by an assigned Project Manager.  The SS will work as a member of a Project team and will coordinate data collection for the implementation with the designated customer contact.  The SS will input translations into Provision and download the completed translations to the ACM. The SS will simultaneously support multiple complex implementations in several time zones across the country, which may also include after-hour installations.

 

Requirements:  Experience with Avaya Provision and ASA softwareKnowledge of all new platforms such as S8300, S8500 and S8720, IA770, Modular Messaging and Intuity LX  Knowledge of network services provided by various carriers including ISDN-PRI services with the ability to work with the vendor to test and turn up of circuits  Strong communication, time management and organizational skills
