Customer Service Representative

FirstDigital Telecom is a leading facilities based communications provider offering broadband connections for Voice, Data, and Internet services.  We are locally based in Utah offering stability and flexibility to both our customers and our employees.  FirstDigital Telecom is currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a full-time customer service representative.  Responsibilities of this position include answering & resolving incoming calls for service changes, billing questions, & service issues in a professional & timely manner.  The position will also assist in implementing new orders in an accurate manner.

 

Skills required:

 Ability to provide ownership & follow-up of all calls taken. Ability to learn new tasks quickly & efficiently. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to operate with a high degree of accuracy, urgency & flexibility. Strong written & verbal communication skills- must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, & professional manner with customers, co-workers, & managers. Ability to cope with interruptions, change and unrelated details while maintaining appropriate priority of projects & tasks. Must to self-motivated with little supervision. Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Expert problem solver with proven decision making ability. Ability to accurately interpret customer?s needs over the phone.

 

2+ years of the following experience is required:

 Experience explaining customer billing and resolving billing issues. Experience in assisting customers over the phone. Advanced experience with computers including Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Explorer and Netscape Navigator.

 

The following if preferred, but not required:Telephone services knowledge including POTS, telephone features, T1s, internet, data communications, web hosting, DSL, email, etc. Experience with NPAC & IMA.
