DSL Telecom Technician

Candidates must have 2 plus years of basic knowledge of Tip & Ring (POTS) Plain Old Telephone Service. Performing DSL and Tip and Ring Installation and testing.
Technician must have 2 years of DSL experience and a laptop for testing. VOIP is preferred but not required training can be provided. Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record. Technicians are responsible for gas and upkeep of the vehicle maintaining valid required amount of vehicle insurance. Technicians must have a truck/van able to carry, secure and house necessary material, utility ladder and tools. Maintain a Safe Driving Record. Maximum salary of $19/hr includes starting salary of $15/hr plus $4/hr Truck and Tool Allowance.

Requirements:
Truck and Tools, Background check and Drug screening, Educational Requirements/Experience Requirements: GED or High school degree required. Some college is a plus. Minimum of 2 years telecommunications or LAN related inside wiring and troubleshooting. Skill/Competency Requirements: Basic understanding of telephony, AC/DC, Ethernet and TCP/IP required. Familiarity with computer operating systems is necessary. Must have a good understanding of inside wiring and color coding. Minor network understanding desired.
