DSP Software Engineer

 

As a DSP Software Engineer, you will participate in the development of software for an advanced wireless base station in a highly-dynamic, small-company atmosphere. You will develop physical layer software for various wireless standards, incorporating our smart antenna technology, and will work directly with customers to integrate ArrayComm's software into their wireless base station systems.

 

QualificationsMSEE or MSCS with 5+ years experience writing signal processing software in C and/or assembly for wireless communication systemsGood communication capabilitiesExperience working independently and working directly with customers often in their facilities to develop, integrate, and test an end productDeep and current technical knowledge and implementation experience in one or more of the following areas:

+ Modulation and channel coding/decoding (Reed Solomon/BICM/Turbo codes)

+ Timing/frequency offset estimation in single carrier/multi-carrier systems

+ OFDM/DMT modulation schemes

+ Channel equalization

+ Beam-forming techniquesExperience with design and implementation of the physical layer of one or more of the following standards:

+ GSM

+ CDMA2000/WCDMA

+ TD-SCDMA

+ PHS

+ 802.11 a/b/g/n

+ 802.16eExperience with good software development processes, including design specification, modularization, fixed-point MATLAB/C implementation, source control, and unit testingExperience with the efficient implementation on one of these DSPs TI C64xx, Motorola 563XX, 566XX, TigerSharc, StarCore, or any other proprietary DSPExperience with TI DSPs and TI's Code Composer Studio is a big plusExperience with MATLAB is highly desired
