Data Analysis Specialist in Long Beach. Advanced Excel User

A successful manufacturer and wholesaler company is seeking a Data / Cost Analysis Specialist to join a casual accounting department of 5 employees. This position would be working at the corporate headquarters located in Long Beach, CA. The company was incorporated in 1976 and has 8 locations in North America.

We are looking for someone who is strong in Access and who is an advanced user in Microsoft Excel for projects involving pivot tables, conditional sums, formatting, linking table query, ad-hoc SGL queries, macros and use of VBA. This person must have the ability to gather/query data, provide data analysis and prepare reports.

Preferred skills.
Some Oracle PL/SQL Database skills ore familiarity with Oracle functional applications. Experience or understanding of basic accounting / business processes. Completion or progress on an BA/BS in Accounting, Business, Computer Information Sciences ore a related field.
