Database Analyst - Marketing

This individual is responsible for providing data solutions including reporting, database and/or intranet applications to various directors, senior regional vice president & GMs and regional sales and marketing managers. This position is also responsible for implementing new procedures and process improvements to assist with revenue creation, data reporting, and other initiatives. Responsibilities typically include database creation, data extraction and analysis, unit and revenue tracking, and preparation and dissemination of various reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, or one-time basis as needed. Applicant will develop applications as needed to provide data or functional work procedures as required by the business.

Responsible for gathering, preparation and organization of data and process development to support new revenue streams throughout the company, including telemarketing efforts, new market rollouts, internal and external marketing campaigns, marketing base management, churn management, left to right programs, etc.

Primary Focus for 2006:

*Increasing bundled customers on Term Contracts by 25% over 2005.
*Grow Residential revenue 3.6% - data pull for left to right activity
*Grow Pay station revenue by 10% over 2006 budget
*Pull Customers on Expiring Promotions - increase renewals to 70%
*Pull Customer Contract Renewal Data - increase HSI and A/L to 70%
*Pull Customers on Legacy Plans - Migrate 20% to new packages
*Frontier Works Sales - Pull data to assist sales in achieving 7,104 business customers on package
*Produce web-based reporting to standardize reporting for the west regions. Work with counter-parts to sync up reporting.

Must have at least 3 years experience in advanced data analysis. Must also be familiar with data entry and extraction methods for all data warehouses used within the Company, including DPI, Scorecard and other data sources.

Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to work with little supervision and have the ability to manage own workload. Must be well-organized and must be able to communicate well with both internal and external customers. Must be extremely comfortable with MS Office suite of products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word specifically). Visual Basic, SQL programming, and Brio Query know-how required. Must be comfortable with web-publishing procedures.

College graduate degree in Computer Sciences, Telecommunications preferred.

Limited travel may be involved. Must be available for evening or weekend work as job requires.
