Major Responsibilities:
Provide on-going support for BD eBill on-line interface.
Will support AMSS platform and specialize in Java performance tuning and memory leak detection.
Provide Production support based on the SLA Amdocs is committed to the customer
for Severity 1 issues the support is immediate 24*7
Troubleshoot production tickets mainly, but not limited, in the on-line modules.
Specializes in performance tuning and memory leak detection.
As part of on going maintenance releases: develop, Unit Test & Support fixes related to the AMSS customization layer and interfaces to the backend systems.
Responsible for developing & delivering production fixes (DB scripts & Unix Shell scripts) according to the customer procedures.
Responsible to identify performance issues and provide recommendations & resolutions for those issues. Qualifications:

Fast learner and able to adapt to complex environment

Ability to work independently to execute tasks without direction
Innovative
At least 5 years experience in Java
Knowledge of AMSS 4.5 or AMSS 6.0 is a plus
Experience in Web Services is a plus
Experience in tools such as Borland Profiler or JProbe is a must.
Experience in apache Tools: Axis, Struts, Tiles, Log4J is a must
Experience in Java development using MQSeries is a plus
Experienced in SQL is a must.
Experience in developing Shell scripts on Sun Solaris is a plus
Knowledge of the telecommunication billing world is a plus.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in relevant field
