Director of Sales

This position is a real opportunity for an intelligent, aggressive and motivated individual, preferably of electrical engineering background, who is eager for a chance to enter the commercial side of the exciting world of high technology.

Company:  Airspan Networks Inc.

 

Location: Florida or Eastern US (but other locations will be considered)

 

Compensation: Annual $60,000 - $130,000 (base and sales commissions)

 

 

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

 

 Managing sales activity in the Eastern US (both direct sales and indirect channel sales).Meeting or exceeding targets for revenue and product mix.Managing the company?s relationships with customers, partners and other sales related partnerships within the region.Develop new direct and new sales channel opportunities and increase market share and market leadership in collaboration with other members of the North American Sales team.Travel to advance and close sales opportunities throughout the region. Forecasts future business and identifies and quantifies market trends.The position requires an individual with strong drive to thrive under pressure.

 

 

Experience

The ideal candidate has:

 At least 1-5 years sales experience in telecommunications wireless systems, or 1-5 years experience in sales of high-end technology products.Strong engineering and/or technical background.Technical knowledge of wireless technology - 802.11 and 802.16 would be beneficial

Individuals with lack of sales experience that have a strong engineering background and willingness to move into the commercial side of the technology business will be considered.
