POSITION SUMMARY: Entry-level position in the progressive Communications Professional Program. This position introduces an employee to Dispatch/Operations Center through training and duties associated with assigning, tracking and recording work order fulfillment of field technicians to ensure customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

High School Diploma or recognized equivalent

6 months to 1 year of experience in the Technical/Dispatch related field

6 months to 1year of Cable Data and Comtrac Preferred

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to installation of cable, online, & telephony.

Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including overtime, weekends, and evenings per business needs

Must have strong customer orientation, with effective interpersonal skills including but not limited to professional telephone etiquette, as well as verbal/written communication abilities

Proficient data entry and computer processing skills word processing, spreadsheet calculating capabilities, e-mail exchanges, Microsoft Suite, etc.

Competency to operate company equipment such as computers, telephones, headsets, mobile phones, pagers, and other tools necessary to perform job
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MAJOR TASKS include but are not limited to:

Communications with in-house employees and contractors

Monitoring tech schedule to ensure On Time Guarantee

Escalation of order to SRO [Special Request Order]

Account processing to change/close existing work and/or schedule new work

Customer contact to confirm appointments, services, etc.

Understand and demonstrate safety with self, others, company equipment and property, and familiarity with accessing material in the Ergonomic and Office Safety Guide Book

Maintain a CQE (monitoring) score of Proficient

Work Order and record maintenance including filing, archiving, logging, etc.

Perform other duties as required to achieve department goals and objectives
Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
