E911/TDOA Engineer

My client is seeking a E911/TDOA Engineer for Parsippany, NJ. The contract is initially until the beginning of December 2006, but may have the potential for extension.

Job Description:

Supplement the regional TDOA engineering team. Focus on monitoring daily KPI on each of the 8 WLGs in the region. Troubleshoot thru to resolution any KPI which does not meet current defined standards. Assist with design of new PSAP request. Monitor Network capacity and highlight elements that are approaching capacity limits. Monitor and assist markets with new LMU deployments (download updated software to LMUs). Assist markets with troubleshooting of faults. Rotate responsibility to implement new configurations during maintenance window. Work closely with markets / FSC / Tier II and True Position as required

Minimum Requirements:

Must have experience with True Position EMS/SCOUT applications. Knowledge of TDOA network design and troubleshooting of network elements. Ability to create or modify configuration files. Understanding of GSM BTS products would be a desirable asset. Good computer and communication skills
