Engineer & Central Office Installers Level 2 & 3

Stockton Telecom is looking for Central Office Installers for Southern California Area LEVELS 2 & 3 and ENGINEER .

 

Ideal Candidates will possess:

*The ability to work flexible hours

*Good driving record

*Ability to travel

*Work overtime as required

 

Must have 2-5 years experience, or equivalent in equipment system/environment (Common Systems, Digital Switch, Transport Facilities, power)

 

 Responsiblities would include but not be limited to the following:

 

*Be able to run cable and secure cable by stitching with 9 cord per bell standards.

*Know the standard color code and be able to wire wrap.

*Able to install ironwork and cable rack.

*Able to mount bays and install equipment in bays.

*Follow instructions and direction from on site supervisor.

*Willing to travel.

*Dependable, punctual person.

*Able to have a valid driver?s license and proof of insurance.

*Dependable transportation.

*Basic tools required by Stockton.

*Knowledge of company safety, service and quality requirements

 

Engineering Requirements/Job Description:

 

Stockton Telecom has an immediate need for a Central Office Detail Engineer with 4 years experience or more.  Job is in Southern California.  Work includes DSLAM, ATM, various Central Office equipment, power, common systems, Floor Plan layouts & cabling.  Experience with ExcelTM and AutoCADTM is a must.  Some travel may be necessary.
