We are currently seeking a Engineering Project Analyst for our downtown

Minneapolis location.



We are looking for a self-motivated, well-organized individual with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. This position will provide project, accounting, and administrative support to Network and IP engineers, the engineering support groups and engineering management.

Essential Job Functions:


Project Support ? 60%



Track departmental spending and assist ensure RFPs and other processes are flowing smoothly.




Data Analysis ? 30%



Assist management in cost justifying CapEx projects and by assisting in budget creation and cost analyses.




Administrative Support ? 10%



Maintain files and records.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner.






Understanding of basic accounting principles with an ability to apply knowledge in the creation of reports and in performing data analyses. Understanding of corporate purchasing processes desirable.






Experience using Oracle required. Previous experience working in a telecommunications environment preferred.






Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with minimum supervision required. Must have good communication skills and be able to meet schedules.






Excellent Microsoft Office computer skill required. In depth knowledge of Excel required, other database knowledge such as ACCESS, helpful.





 

Education and Experience:



High school diploma required. Two years of college or business school is desirable. 2 years experience with Oracle preferred.



3 to 5 years experience working in an engineering or data analysis environment preferred.
