Equipment Engineer - Nokia BTS

The BTS Equipment Engineers' primary responsibilities are to calculate, define, forecast, procure and lay-out all BTS related hardware required for new cell site builds and network expansion projects as required by the local market and RF design plans. By working with the Market, Region, and HQ departments, the BTS Engineer will develop new standards and ensure existing standards are followed for all BTS related hardware deployment projects. In addition, the BTS Engineer is directly responsible for working with vendors and Supply Chain to procure BTS hardware for just in time delivery as required by the market. General Requirements Fluent with all common Microsoft Office applications. Able to read interpret wiring diagrams/schematics/blueprints. Should have working knowledge of BTS (RAN) hardware (TDMA, GSM, UMTS), DC Power/Battery back-up systems and RF hardware functionality. Prefer Nokia GSM, Ericsson or Lucent UMTS but not required. Will work with implementation, construction, and RF.
