Executive Account Director, East Coast

Description:   Leading Telecommunications Company seeks a high-energy individual to join our fast-paced, growing $80M+ organization. We are looking for a self-starter with an excellent sales history to join our team.  This person will be heading up sales and development in the East Coast Region.  They can be based anywhere in the Southeast.

Company is a communications network infrastructure services provider with core competencies in:

 

?  Outside plant engineering, construction and project management.

?  Inside plant engineering, furnish and install.

?  Voice telecommunications design, installation and support.

?  Data communications design, installation and maintenance.

?  Call center management.

?  Staffing

 

Strong consideration will be offered to those with skills and experience in the following areas:

 

?  Senior relationships within RBOCs, IOC and CLEC markets.

?  Creating and managing multi-leveled direct sales teams.

?  Sales cycle management. Both short and extended.

?  Senior level event interaction.

?  Demonstrated sales success in multiple markets.

?  Government services relationships.

 

Requirements:

 

Individual will possess a minimum of 7 years executive telecom sales experience.  Telecommunications experience required with emphasis in OSP, EFI&M or OEM with evolved understanding of the telecommunications concepts, practices, and procedures.  RBOC, IOC, CLEC and OEM sales experience would be desirable.

BS/BA or equivalent experience required.

We desire an individual who is creative, organized and has excellent communication skills with willingness to travel.  Proficiency in PC, including MS products is essential. Experience with ACT! a plus.
