Field Application Engineer

Optical Communication Products, a leading supplier of optical transceivers to the networking and metro markets, has an immediate opening for a Field Application Engineer to support OCP's Canadian customers. The Ottawa-based candidate will provide technical pre- and post-sales support in the qualification of our product line. Must be able to successfully manage relationships with key customers during the ?design in? phase of the sales cycle.? In addition, the candidate must have direct optical transceiver experience, a working knowledge of the Canadian market, and excellent written and verbal skills. A BSEE or equivalent degree and at least six years of experience, preferably in the optical transceiver market, is required. OCP is traded on NASDAQ as OCPI.
