We are seeking a ?Field Technician? for our ?Dallas, TX facility.?

Position Description:
The Field Technician is a self motivated, team player that will evaluate, diagnose and perform corrective maintenance on satellite and land based electronics and communications equipment. The technician will serve as the customer point of contact for all Field Operations tasks completed at these customer locations. This established customer communication channel will ensure a seamless flow of program and project data both to and from the field, as well as enhancing overall customer satisfaction. The Field Technician will be responsible for maintaining their field expense reports, time reporting, and daily call que updates. The technician will work under immediate supervision and from detailed verbal and written instructions, to assist in organizing the pre-positioning and life cycle support for all tasks required for the implementation and execution of the Business Operations Plan.

Job Responsibilities:
? Provide planning and coordinating of daily activities of multiple programs/projects
? Perform remedial, corrective and preventative maintenance
? Installation and or removal of equipment on assigned product lines according to a set schedule
? Evaluate and diagnose hardware problems and perform repairs

? Ability to work from detailed verbal and written instruction
? Ability to perform simple and repetitive tasks

? Ability to complete reports established by supervisors

Work Environment:
? Primary work environment is traditional, climate controlled office environment with associated, ambient noise and visual acuity levels
? Less than 20% travel
? Ability to utilize personal computer and/or computer terminal including keyboard and mouse or equivalent
? Ability to utilize electronic communication media including telephone, fax, and email ? or equivalent
? Extended periods of sitting, manipulating, and grasping
? Occasional lifting and movement of up to 15 pounds

Educational/Technical Requirements:
? AA/AS Degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience
? Formal technical training or 1 ? 2 years experience in RF
? Knowledge of electronic circuitry and an understanding of electronics and electromechanical devices.
