Position Summary:

This individual will collaborate with product teams, operations personnel, product managers, and strategic partners to define and architect digital add insertion into video broadcasting environment using IP technology. The SME will define and architect a comprehensive solutions that meet business, functional and performance needs with the clients IPTV service environments. Additionally, this person will document and articulate system requirements and designs to operations teams, supporting the development and implementation of such requirements.

Major duties:Develop add insertion architecture and specifications for digital video broadcasting and IPTV environment including HDTV. Participate in the analysis of existing broadcasting network management systems integration and technologies.Analysis of specific system elements, such as queuing software and processes, with recommendations for appropriate changesAssist in conducting regular testing and analysis of software and facilities to ensure proper operation.

 

Experience: At least 8 years experience in software development with architectural experience and responsibilities relating to broadcasting and add insertion in video broadcasting environment for both analog and digital video including HDTVHave a working experience of IP and TPTVExperience mapping business requirements to technology capabilities, identifying gaps and omissions, and designing end-to-end solutionsCreative, self-motivated team player willing to take the lead to develop cutting-edge solutionsClear and effective verbal and written communications skills
