IPTV Test Engineer

EDUCATION:  BSCE/BSCS/BSEE, Microsoft Certification MCSE,/MCSA or MCSD etc is must.

 

JOB DUTIES:  Providing support and help in build-out for VHO (Video Hub Offices) deploying Microsoft IPTV and associated products involved with Project Lightspeed.  This job involves full time travel. Recreating field problems in the lab and then documenting the procedure, process and setup.  Job requires interfacing with customers, architectural and engineering teams, and system test engineers.

 

EXPERIENCE:  The 5+ years of strong experience and knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment. The candidate must have strong knowledge in Microsoft OS (Server 2000,2003), Enterprise Active Directory design and implementation. Experience in Microsoft DNS/DHCP/WINS/IIS/IPSec, scripting languages (VB/XML/C Sharp). The candidate must be familiar with various other WINDOWS infrastructure products like SMS, Certificate services, ADS (Automated Deployment Services), MOM etc. Good written and verbal communication skills. Team player, self-starter with minimum supervision, fast learner who pays attention to details. Problem solving skills and logical thinker required.  Knowledge in implementing/designing/ troubleshooting MS-SQL Databases in enterprise cluster environment skills is desired.

 

Up to 80% travel may be required.
