SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Demand Generation Specialist will be responsible for qualifying all inbound leads and converting them into opportunities ready for Field Sales follow-up. This person will also help initiate and execute outbound demand generation programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Qualify leads that come in via inbound phone calls, email and web form inquiries, e-marketing programs, trade shows and events, and other inquiry / demand generation channels. Document and update prospect interaction in Eastern?s customer relationship management (CRM) tools to ensure efficient opportunity transfer to the appropriate Regional Sales Manager. Produce lead pipeline/tracking reports using CRM, Excel, and other reporting tools as necessary. Perform teleprospecting functions using qualifying scripts developed in conjunction with Marketing. Provide customer/prospect feedback to Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Customer Support organizations as needed. Must be very comfortable working with an international, multi-cultural customer base. Requires periodic schedule flexibility to accommodate time zone differences (for example, ?off-hours? telephone work).
EXPERIENCE 3+ years of successful inside sales experience prospecting, qualifying and developing leads, and achieving measurable sales development goals. Prefer technical inside telesales and teleprospecting experience. The candidate should have the ability to easily understand telecommunications technology and communicate system features and benefits to prospects.
