Installation & Maintenance Technician
Consolidated Communications, Inc., a progressive telecommunications company, is seeking qualified applicants for an Installation & Maintenance Technician in our Katy, Texas location.
Job Responsibilities Include: Installs and/or maintains switch/cell/network equipment at the customer site or at the company location. Interprets service orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics. Installs, rearranges, and removes equipment and associated wiring; verifies work order information and verifies receipt of all necessary equipment and information. Locates and repairs equipment problems associated with trouble reports; tests and adjusts equipment as necessary.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid Texas driver?s license and be an insurable driver. Must be physically able to climb poles and ladders. Must be able to use hand tools. Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision. Must have customer service skills.
