LEV 3 & LEV 4 CENTRAL OFC INSTALLERS IN CALF/TEXAS
o FOR THE CENTRAL AREAS IN TEXAS AND CALIFORNIA
LEVEL 3
Must have 3-5 years experience, or equivalent in equipment system/environment (Common Systems, Digital Switch, Transport Facilities, power).
o Additions or removal of wiring and connections (on non-working equipment only)
o Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings.
o Ability to complete necessary job documentation from start to completion.
o Ability to assist Engineer to locate and correct engineering problems.
o Able to assist in estimating new orders and manage the overall cost of order under his/her control.
o Ability to direct the efforts of others in his/her charge with minimum supervision.
o Perform and correct in-process and final quality inspections.
o Knowledge of company safety, service and quality requirements.
FOR TEXAS AND CALIFORNIA AREAS LEVEL 4/TESTER
o Must have 6-8+ years experience or equivalent and can demonstrate installation proficiency in both Transport facilities and power.
o Must have neat and professional appearance and manner, as this position will have direct contact with customer.
o Ability to coordinate with customer to sign JSA?s, MOP?s, and JCR?s.
o Must have working knowledge of customer installation requirements. Example: TP Guidelines, BSPs, and M&Ps.
o Performing Internal Quality Audits for each and every job.
o Ability to perform additions, removals and modifications of common systems (transport, facilities, power) including all associated cabling, ironwork, BDFB, PBD, etc.
o Ability to interpret job specifications and drawings.
o Ability to complete documentation and able to perform site surveys.
o Able to perform a material inventory and identify shortages and problems at the beginning of jobs.
o Able to assist in estimating new orders and manage the overall cost of order under his/her control.
o Ability to direct the efforts of others in his/her charge with minimum supervision.
o Ability to perform all Test and Acceptance with Maintenance Engineer?s to certify equipment.
o Knowledge of company safety, service and quality requirements.
o And other duties as required.
o Education/Training Requirements
o High School graduate or equivalent.
o Trade school preferred but not required.
