SUMMARY
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Lead Software Engineer is responsible for design, documentation, and implementation of embedded software systems.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Embedded Software design using OOAD tools Documentation, presentation, and review of software designs Implementation and unit testing of software subsystems Software subsystem integration Any other duties as assigned by management EXPERIENCE Minimum of 8 years of telecommunications design, implementation experience. Embedded systems development System Level Architecture C and C++ Object Oriented design Unified Process or Rhapsody tool experience Real time operating systems Hardware device drivers Hardware boot-up LAN and WAN Protocols Multiprocessor, Distributed Real Time Systems Frame Relay, PPP, Broadband data communications ATM, VLAN, SONET, E1, T1, T3, STS1, OC-n QNX, VxWorks, Motorola 86x/8xxx Power PC Must have Basic concepts of algebra and elementary calculus. EDUCATION BS/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
