Manager, Network Provisioning & Design

Intelliverse,  a leading provider of enhanced communications services, currently has an opening for a Manager, Network Provisioning & Design  located in Atlanta, GA.

SUMMARY

Responsible for overall management of Network Provisioning & Design team and processes. Network includes local services, private line, VoIP, entrance facilities, long distance, toll free, LNP, and internet access. The network supports platforms including IVR, voice mail, VoIP, calling card. The provisioning team is also resporting on all systems as well as interfacing with telco billing, network design, NOC and technical operations for any requirements.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required by business needs.

1. Manage provisioning team for all areas of responsibility.

2. Work closely with Sr. Director for all network design requirements, changes & documentation.

3. Participate in monthly vendor management review meetings.

4. Oversee and ensure accurate reporting is provided to Sr. Director for required services.

5. Ensure LNP orders completed timely with issues resolved as needed.

6. Ensure compilation of daily, weekly and monthly reports which track various processes and measurements for LNP issues.

7. Oversee projects and cutovers and participate as required.

8. Interface with telco vendors for LNP issues and tickets as needed.

9. Ensure accurate monitoring and tracking of database for VoIP number inventory.

10. Ensure accurate monitoring and resolution of E911 issues associated with VoIP numbers.

11. Interface with Engineering as needed for error reporting or any other reports as needed.

12. Interface with customers and end users for any items pertaining to LNP orders and process.

13. Monitor and maintain database for CDR/traffic on all facilities.

14. Oversee maintenance of accurate database for all traffic generating network circuits in all locations.

15. Report on circuits requirements as depicted in VoIP traffic studies and provide recommendations for ordering/changing to include trending.

16. Assist and update as necessary to internal departments for network facilities status and requirements.

17. Support as needed for capacity management of network platforms/equipment.

18. Interface with telco vendors to determine capabilities and service offerings for network facilities as needed.

19. Provide support for network grooming and disconnect/reconfigure circuits as necessary.

20. Oversee all orders for facilities, LNP?s, local services, etc. and testing/acceptance of such.

21. Ensure proper coordination for providing necessary documentation to Telco Billing team for any circuit/facility orders and provide ongoing assistance as necessary.

 QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of three years telecom management experience in provisioning or network.

High level knowledge of systems, software and database applications with specific knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Access

Experience and knowledge of LNP, with emphasis on VoIP services and platform

Experience and knowledge of  switches and networks

Diverse in traditional and current voice and data circuitry with specific knowledge of VoIP and local services

Strong PC and communications skills

 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma

Three years related job experience or college degree in related field

Minimum three years telecom management experience
